Hi jackielegs..

So you want someone else to do the hard work for you and then continue with the easy parts?  :P  ;D

It might help if you put some more words or phrases in your question.

Phrases like "could someone please.." or  "I would be so gratefull if.."

Words like 'please' and 'possibly' are better than 'need' and 'want'.

Just a thought, as it is hard enough allready to get someone to just give up the hard work they have done on something as timeconsuming as a good hull.  ;)

Regards,
Fred

Why don't you use Delftship? That creates a good hull for you. And fee:

Well, start a new project and configure it your self. I find it hard, but never use it.

You have to play with it I think :)

Maybe... I know that you can do it in 3ds Max by exporting the hull as OBJ-file and use the import feature in 3ds Max. Next you just mirrir it to make the second part. Afterwards you have a h*** of a work to weld vertex points to create a full border that you cap to close the hull at the top... ;D

So you are going to make Queen Mary 2 in Sketshup huh? As far as I know VSTEP don't want any Sketshup models. Is this you first model then? Well... then I wish you VERY good luck at least ;)

From one that have tried to make QM2... cough..cough (http://virtualships.org/screenshots/index.php?id=412) :P
