Hello

Can you tell me if we can use the harbour tugs now with vermaas because they have no effects on vermaas before

Thanks

I will try it because before nothing happened when you pushed or pull the vermaas

Tugs will work when pushing (not pulling) where the marks on the Vermas's hull are.-

I tried this in one ore two missions and worked out.
A solution to avoid the tug either sinking or moving from the marks and bouncing against de Vermas is to moore it so you can keep it pushing and at the same time not moving.-

Ill post a picture when I get back home for you to understand my explanation!

Regards,  ;)

The pics I promised.. ;)

Notice the mooring lines to avoid the tugs moving one side to the other...

OK we have to push on the tugs mark on the hull but what happened when you are connected forward and pulling;

for me nothing happened there is a problem, they have to give us more powerfull tugs ;)

To berth the VERMAAS with tugs make more realistic the real procedure of port manoeuvering.
Place one tug just abaft accomodation and the other one at the midship just use 5% power before you touch the VERMAAS with the TUG (Avoid Damages) soonest you'r in touch with VERMAAS then you can increasy the tugs power, make sure you are working at the same power with those tugs at the same time, in case that the ship's stern is closing to the pier faster than the bow use the truster to help you.

Have fun ;D

Very nice shots to.
And it's more realistic,to handle big ship with some tugs.You're right about that.
