Azimuth rudder-propellers

the bugsier 2 is manvuerable (and hard to control). Have you ever heard It uses Azimuth thrusters.
 these are what they look like on a real ship.......

I think B2 has Aquamaster drives in Kort nozzles.

The Ocean Star also has Azipods, as well as Jumbo Javelin (although it is retractable and only for slow speed manoeuvering.

As one can see, B2’s drives do not fall into the rudder-propeller category as the topic title suggests. That category includes azipods which have shapes that act as rudders to provide some steering when the prop is not turning. The rudder effect from a Kort nozzle is usually too small to be useful, especially when positioned where they are on B2.

The Red Eagle has been in ShipSim 2008 since the beginning. There have been a few topics on maneuvering her, and a short explanation in the Missions Manual.
