Hi, Did you buy the game as a download from Vstep? Or did you buy it as a Disc?
If you got it from Steam I cannot help as I have no knowledge of how Steam works.

In that case you can re-download it from the Vstep site. They will have a record of your purchase.
Best of luck.

Hi Dellboy,
if you go to "ShipSim.com" that is the address you need.

Hi Traddles
I have been through the FAQ's on the site but none of them tell me how to reinstall the simulator.
I tried to contact Vstep through their contact page but it was rejected because they only deal with admin. issues!!!!
I know I am getting on in years but this is now getting to the point when I might forget Vstep and try something else. To me this is a simple question of just click on here and off you go.

I have been with ship sim for many years and when I ask for help I draw a blank. Traddles, you are not included in this rant.

Maybe you could get Vstep to answer for me?

When you have found ShipSim.Com you will see on the top left in very small lettering "You are not logged on" and beside that in blue letters "log on". If you registered  when you bought the game it might take you straight to your details of purchases, other wise try "Forgot password" or even "Register" that should take you where you need to be. When I do this  and enter "log on" I can find all the records of my purchases in the past, even many years ago.as my Email address and password are recorded there.  If you have the good luck to log in you can then re-download your game.

Traddles.

I eventually managed to log in, after it was blocked for some reason, and have reinstalled the game.
There is still a problem because my account details only show that I have SSE yet I have all the sims and addons. I will try their admin route again and see what happens!!!!

There is a problem with the reinstall, which I will put in the technical forum if you say so,in that I can no longer download any missions because a pop up says that the system is not connecting to the internet because the servers low in responding so I need to know how to correct this so I can update my list?

See http://forum.shipsim.com/index.php/topic,31315.msg404525.html#msg404525 about fixing this problem by replacing the Sendpostdata.dll file. Put this file into the Channels folder with the installation folder of ShipSim Extremes 2010.

Hi MokMok

Thank you for replying.

I have looked at the post you suggested.
I have all the criteria, SSE Update 1.55, but when I look at the file the 'sendpostdatadll' is not there!!
Any ideas?
