I have the same problem that many people. I have spent 30 euros buying the hole game and i cant play. It get freeze inicializating the game and i cant play. I need help

I had the same problem and I solved it by installing the Visual c++ 2005 redistributable package, physx and the correct ati graphics driver.

Look in the ship simulator folder -> Resources - redist and install the files there. that is where they are located with the downloadable version which can be bought from the website. Maybe they are found there as well on steam version.

If I use an new driver for my graphics card I get error trying to start the game, so I had to settle for an old driver and now it works smoothly.

Hi idiamantes,
Your graphics card driver is 3 years old and you can download a more recent one from the Nvidia website. This might help, but the card only has 497mb of dedicated memory so I do not think it is powerful enough to play the game.

You are wrong my friend. My graphics card is AMD Radeon HD 6800 Series. Please i have pay 30 euros and i want to play. My pc haves all the requirements to play.

If your graphics card IS the AMD Radeon HD 6800 Series then you have either installed the wrong driver, or have confused your graphics card manufacturer.

The DXDiag file you provided clearly states that you have an Nvidia card.

If you have installed a discrete AMD Radeon HD 6800 then please ensure it is:
.  Fitted correctly
.  The drivers are installed correctly
.  You have instructed your BIOS to use the card as the primary graphics adapter
.  you have actually plugged your monitor into the AMD card and not the on-board outlet ( a simple trap for beginners)

Because its a fact that you computer is using the nvidia integrated chip and not the AMD graphics card, 'my friend'.
