Random trivia fact: he actually said "One small step for a man..." The "A" was lost over transmission.

Too bad he's gone. He was an inspiration to everyone. It would be suitable to bury him on the moon. :-\

Not to sound cliched, but what a long, strange, trip it's been.

Or like "Scotty" from Star Wars- send his ashes up into orbit. Should be easy enough to as the Russians/Chinese/Indians since they are the only ones with a space programme of any credibility. (Incidentally, what has happened to NASA under obama is pretty well what happened to the British space race (which was well ahead of America and Russia in the early 1960's)- the technical knowledge is there, the facilities are there- but the political guts are not.

Or like Spock in the Star Trek film "Star Trek 2: The Wrath of Kahn". While orbiting in a space ship (ISS?), Spock (Armstrong) in his tubular coffin is launched out of the airlock and therefore rests in peace in space.
