Not to sound cliched, but what a long, strange, trip it's been.

Hi Finney,
The official berth for Pride of Rotterdam is in the Beneluxhaven. This is actually modelled very correctly in SSE. See the picture below, in which you can identify where it is from the chart at top right.

Traddles.

I hope they are available in Free roam. :o

Thanks again

Ok here it is, the place Salty Dog recommend was great, the structure was there to transfer passengers to ship etc...(see below image)

However, where Traddles recommend no such structures exist, how did you get them mate? Custom scenery from Mission Editor? Because I have nothing there not even a pier let alone bollards to moor to like in your image. (see image below)

Thanks again guys!

Hi Finney,
I am totally baffled by your problem. The berth I show is standard for the game and has been there since the game was first launched. Very odd indeed. ??? I have not seen any other reports which mention the berth not being there.
Were you playing in free roaming at the time? I'll have a look and see myself. ::) The picture I showed was of a "dummy" mission I made just to illustrate where the berth is. :-X In the attched picture I show PoR where she spawns and you can clearly see three bollards. one each on the ends of the loading ramp and one on shore close to the footwalk for the mooring gang.

Regards,
Traddles.

Hey Traddles

Thanks for the information. I have no clue what is or not standard with this sim other than it comes with Ships.

I think the first problem is Steam, I bought the game through Steam, it is the second game and certainly the last one I'll buy through them. Had nothing but issues with first game and now appears this one too :-\.

Anyway...I uninstalled the game and reinstalled it and well what do you know..(see images below). There is a dock! ;D I also have bollards in certain places and other stuff I have not seen.  :o

But I still have a invisible anchor chain, maybe the images can suggest something. Why is one red and the other yellow and no chain? I do not have anchor chain on any ship I try (I haven't tried them all) and in any environment.

Who do I need to talk to about a download link for the game and all the DLCs I have purchased. I want to remove Steam permanently but that removes my game but want to use the game I bought without Steams noise in it.

Thanks mate

Thanks for stepping in Eric, I'm afraid I have not got a clue on how Steam operates, though players do seem to have some degree of problems with Steam.
As to the yellow and red indicators Finney. The Blue anchor symbol turns to yellow when you lower an anchor. Then, if you have switched off the mooring symbols and you wish to raise the anchor, switch the symbols back on and the anchor symbol will now appear red, indicating that the anchor is down and ready to raise. I hope I made that clear OK.

Angus.
