It looks like you tried to go ahead with the anchor still down.

This was SS2006, and anchors weren't useable.

Is SS06 still fun to play now? Are the missions fun?

SS06 is still fun playing with and doing its missions. But you can't save the mission you are doing.

Hi I just installed 2006 on a new machine. I already have it for years, but was never able to upload the money earned. At this moment I hope I did not miss a thing.
I played 2006 2 times all missions with result money earned: 0.
This reply was also to see if the money of the first mission was added to my account.

On subject: There are many glitches to find in 2006. One of them is posted above by topic starter.
Some glitches can even raise the fun score for ss 2006 :) I won't mention them, it would spoil the fun.
There are litterally thousends of YouTubes concerning glitches and fun in SS2006, you may want to search for them and pick a few.

Some of the annoying glitches are patched, so it is wise to go to the 2006 section of shipsim and look voor downloads, to find the old and latest updates for 2006.

I just finnished the "get to know the harbour patrol boat" mission again and earned 100 buck.
I will not yet install the updates to see what I come accoss.
It really is fun and great to run SS2006 again on a new machine that is cappable to smoothly run at 1900x1200 screen.
??? ... it still does not add my Money earned 100...
