So how will having a net on the bottom of the boat stop fish dying out?

as u quickely crane out the cage and put it in a masive tank and select the fish u want simple then u put the ones u want in small transportable tanks to sell to people and then u put the ones u dont want back!!!

Sounds like a good idea..Much too much  bycatch  (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bycatch) is thrown back into the sea..
Emptying the net would have to be quick, as dolphins need to breathe regularly..

well yeah iw will be nets are pulled up any way so not fully in the water so theyl be fie right?

Hmm, I like the idea, but can I suggest a few improvements?
1. insted of having the net hauled up and over the side (which would crush the daulphin because of the wieght of fish) why not hual it in though a "moon pool"? that way as the net comes up you can check it for daulphin etc BEFORE it comes out of the water.
2. anything you catch (bar indangerd species) must be process, and will count toward the vessels qouta, as it will minimise the catch you through overboard.
3. use daulphin friendly nets.
4. impose a HUGE fine if someone catches a daulphin or any other marine mamal bar fish.
