Expansion Slot Screw?
« on: July 21, 2011, 17:37:22 »

Hi Guys

recently I brought this USB Expansion Thingy (http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B000K7UN82/ref=oss_product)

When I put it in, I found out it was not supplied with any screws, so its currently not in use :/

Does anyone know what screws I need for it? I tried some spare fan screws but these were too big

Many Thanks

TFM

Hi TFM,

You can use standard case side panel screws with the card, it should fit the same. The name of the particular screw eludes me but I work with these on a daily basis (by repairing and building computers) so I should know :)

Hope that helps,
Adam

Hi TFM,

No particular name really. I found this picture ....

..... and the caption for it was "Screw that attaches card to case". I read elsewhere and they called a "retaining screw for chassis"
