Will it come out in the U.S.?

I'm new, just registred 5 minutes ago. DOes anyone have any updates on when Ship Simulator 2008 will be released in the United states? I heard that they can't find a publisher, but thought that might have changed by now, as that was 3 months ago.

Maybe,it's an idea to buy the download-version,direct from the company(Vstep).
If it takes some more time,to find a distibutor for the game.

But the download is from the UK, right? If I download it from the website, will it still work on my computer? I heard that UK games don't work in the US. ???

Hiya :)

To be perfectly honest, I have never heard of any issues using games from different countries, except the obvious ones with language ;)

Ship Simulator was created in The Netherlands, the Vstep servers are in The Netherlands.  Other members from the USA and other countries have the download version and no problems with compatibility have been reported that I am aware of :)

You should be fine to download the game directly from www.shipsim.com.

US members can buy the download version, and run it without problems. A computer is a computer, I got a Dell system and I'm sure there are people in the US who got more or less the same system ;)

DJM, I read somewhere that the Vstep servers are actually in the US, but it really doesn't matter.

Yes, and absolutely no fighting, amazing. It's hard to find a forum with some activity where people don't harrass each other. But here are moderators around the clock removing even the mildest bad words, someone who wants to mess up this nice community will not survive in here :)
