Now you need to get 4 tugs and try to tow it off.
Actually that would be quite a nice mission, towing a grounded ship off the beach.
Hmmmmmmm, off to play with mission editor.

I tried beaching the PoR, but hit sandbanks long before the beach
Once you are grounded, has anyone managed to get unstuck- using tugs, engines, etc?

It doesn´t work, if you hit the beach, than at the most times you destroy your boat. If its destroyed enough, Shipsim says that your boat is sunk (on the beach).
