These day's on multiplayer I don't see the servers as full as back in the day's with SS08 . I got back SS08 since it is 95% COMPLETE (patched up, features, bugs) and I still have SS10 which once again took 1 step forward and 2 steps back, Im thinking it will take another 2 years for this game to be finished up as well . So the instructions here are simple as A,B,C just put at tick where you fit it so we can understand if SS10 dropped popularity or raised. If anyone actually plays SS08 still or both  .

Note: my vote dose not count, I just wanted to get her fired up

I play SSE now and then, but to be honest I find the performance a let down, so I often decide to play something else if I have any free time. And even if I do go on, it's only single player for a little while, as I just can't play MP without problems.

It's a big shame...but hopefully things will pick up.

For the same reason SS Extremes is banned to the bookshelf for now. Only if and when a working solution for the FPS problem is available I will consider to sail with this version again.
In the meantime I play the SS 08/NH/Elbe & Furie edition with full satisfaction.
Even SS 06 is dusted off and ready to install.

I still play with SS08. As long as SSE2010 is suffering from nasty performance issues, especcially in the Multiplayer Mode, we should revert to SS08!

Seems like today is the last day for voting but however commenting is still active so we can make up votes from that. SS08 what I noticed is that is very crisp and it has a fresh look to it, plus since VSTEP stopped patching it up and adding features it must mean that it is all fixed up and will be able to run at what capabilities it was given. SS08 ships I like because you can change the horn's and make them yourself sound more realistic, the radio sounds are just amazing. The only thing that let's it down is the ocean system which SSE has and the textures of most of the ships.I also really like the lights but they are not controlled like SSE they only show from sunset onwards. Obviously would of been great if the rest of the ships had their lights topped up you know buttons and instruments and outside would be the windows but It does look quite good.
