In the Solent & Chichester Harbour - Terry's Boat
« on: July 27, 2008, 10:34:24 »

Hi everyone.

I was out in my boat on Thursday. If you have the bandwidth, watch these in High Quality!

Fun In Chichester Harbour & the Solent Part 1 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oOY-dFyR9wQ
Leaving Chichester Marina, fuelling up and down through Itechenor
Spot the missus!
We followed the Harbourmaster's RIB for a while. Ollie (one of the Harbourmasters Staff) and my son play in the same football team.

Fun In Chichester Harbour & the Solent Part 2 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DB69fggRA-Y
Rounding East Head and out into the choppy waters of the Solent

Fun In Chichester Harbour & the Solent Part 3 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jXZIF3Vrl7I
Racing back into the Harbour, 'er indoors at the wheel sometimes. Watch a yacht try to get back into the Marina ten seconds after it leaves the lock! Special ending for IrishJack and others. Worth watching to the end. What did Terry do in his younger days?

Not sure what he was doing. I don't think he knew either! I think it may have been first time out. "Phew got through the lock! That's enough for one day".

We have a lot of fun. Mrs Terry says "Hi, Nathan".  ;D

Good fun there Terry,

at first i thought you were gonna show us the perill of the M1 of waterways!  :o man that was busy.

you reminded me of that day of boating i did last week.. had some pics and footage.. but the footage didn't turn out "upto scrap" but put it in anyways...it's uploading at the moment.

Hope you brough enough sunscreen sir, as that water reflects it even more towards a burnt head!

Funny to see you are a portly bloke like me Terry!

Thank you for uploading your fun and adventures!

Regards,

Frankestein

That was me. as you might have guessed, we know a lot of people in the harbour. Charlie (on the lock-side) is one. Ollie (in the Harbourmaster boat) is another. We didn't include the footage my other half shot of him puting suntan lotion on his hairy legs. - Blackmail material....

The music was spoiled a bit by Youtube playing with the sound level. I'm going to see if I can do something about that. "Seaside Shuffle" by Terrydactyl and the Dinosaurs.
