, but here goes anyway. I'm using 2006, so if you already have this in 2008, thanks.
First request: the ability to pan on the chart. Currently it's centered on the ship. The ability to pan would make it easer to avoid obsticles in bigger ships. Of course, you will want a quick snap back to the ship. (I could go on about actually allowing the charting of a course, but the ability to pan is enough).
Second request: make the background of the Chart, GPS, Compass, and Mission panels transparent. I always feel like they occlude too much of my view.
