moving between environments
« on: September 13, 2010, 21:21:27 »

Guys

Just a quick qustion concerning moving between environments in SSE. Is it possible to move freely between environments seamlessly or does the game reload like it did in SS 2008.

do you mean in free play / roam?

if so yes you have to leave the game and select the new enviornmen unless you play Dover - Calais where you can do it in the one environment

with regards to campaigns it will load the new enviornment/s after you get to a way point and then you can continue to play

The person above me says 'yes', but when I read your question I think the better answer would've been 'no'

Once you leave an environment (or sail out of it), you can either bump into something,  or in the case of R'dam, I was able to sail a long way out of the environment, but not once did it move to a different environment, or did the game ask me where to go.

As to what the previous poster said yes, and what he probably thought you meant, is that when you want to go to a different environment, you basically should close your current (free roam) game, and select a different environment. It does not go seamlessly into a new environment all by itself the way it was in '08.

That, like most other questions, has been asked before, and answered.
