Fairmount Sherpa and her sister Summit are featured on the cover of the latest LEKKO International magazine.
Were it not for the different tow, that could have been a screenshot from mission "A massive towing job..."!

I'm afraid that would violate their copyright.
You can visit their web site at www.lekko.org. They usualy display the covers from the last three issues. As of today, they have not yet hung the May/June cover.

Yes i really enjoy using the Sherpa too!   She's a nice size vessel, not too small, and not over large.   Ship Sim could do with a few more vessels of this size...esp Tankers!     The large ships are a bit TOO large, (well i think but when i was at sea i only sailed on tankers from 75m LOA , 2500dwt, to 135m LOA, 20000dwt, so i am a bit biased!  :D )

Some intresting pics...http://www.shipphotos.co.uk/pages/broanton.htm and http://193.15.206.74/Page.aspx?pid=133&id=22

For more pics of offshore vessels (like the Sherpa) have a look here!

Happy sailing all  ;D

Sherpa’s new owner—Louis Dreyfus Armateurs—has ordered two 300 tbp AHTs to augment the Fairmount fleet. It would be nice to see them in the sim. We need more towing muscle equipped with operating towing engines. No, I don’t think it’s “easy to do”.

Our present option in ship assist tugs needs to be expanded also.

Careful! Don't set the copyright debate off again. PLEASE!   :D
