Best Visuals / framnerates
« on: August 31, 2010, 08:22:45 »

Hi Guys, I think I have a pretty fast system, but I cant get rid of those jiggers. Tryed a lot, so maybe someone with a NVIDIA Card could post his settings for a smooth Visual. I run a Nvidia GTX 465 with 1GB Mem. Thanks in advance

It seems like the people with the some of the smallest cards are able to run it smoother. I dunno. I know a friend that has it and he has a GTX 290 and I only have a 9800 GT, yet I get around 3-4 more FPS then he does.

i found out from another game that the newer cards arent fully supported so some games dont use the card to its full potential.

Is that GTX295 or GTX280? I've never heard of GTX290....

I do have the same problems here.
GTX280M 2GB SLI enabled but the performance is worst I 've ever seen.

I feel very disappointed waiting for Extremes which appear to be worst by far then 2008.

like i said b4 it could be because of what i experienced in other games where its not fully supported so its not running at what it should be at or that you dont have enough ram or a CPU problem.

im running a nvidia 8400gs with 1gb mem and 2gb ddr2 ram. ive disabled AS and AA but its still choppy at native res. ive been eagerly awaiting this game to be bitterly disappointed by performance in the lower "Extremes" (pun intended)

I am running my game with an ATI Radion 3870 512mb card and it runs pretty smoothly. It still has a very slight judder in places but nothing major.

nvidia control panel is your friend..

CHECK YOUR SETTINGS... or make a custom one for questviewer (not SSE.exe, as this will not have any affect on your visuals)..
I have mine set at 4x As, override, 16x AA SLI. Supersample... and the rest i left alone (no vsync tho).

i get nice crisp lines and no issues with running the game.
