If you use Internet Explorer lower than version 8 you will have that kind of frozen like site.
I E 8 and other browsers don't have any trouble.

Firefox is a much better browser than Internet Explorer. Firefox is much faster and easier to use.
Firefox all the way!

I can confirm that the mainpage (ShipSim.com) is optimized for IE 8 and not for any other version of IE.
The reason?
I'm almost sure that most of the users are working with a Windows Vista or a Windows 7 machine by now. And when you buy a pre-installed machine it will have IE 8 pre-installed on it.
