I played Ship simulator 2008 Demo & i ran good & also what is the CORE different from Ship simulator 2006 & 2008? They Look The Same
Do you have SS06? I guess not, because after playing both it's very clear.

SS08 has vessel damage, harbour crane operation, more environments, more ships, multiplayer, free roam, an interactive ranking system, better ship dynamics, walkthrough on pretty much all ships, more realistic weather, open sea environments, in-game mooring, towing, anchoring and barge-pushing, waves ,better graphics, proper joystick and other controller support and a mission editor with tons of different events.

SS06 has none of the above.
