Cool to see the Coast Guard in Extremes!

That is really cool! If you guys need any pictures of the decks of a 378' or the cutter itself let me know and I'll see what I can do. I am sure you already have a fairly good source though. Awesome to see a good selection of US Coast Guard vessels in the screen shots though.

Glad you like it

I think Vstep is in contact with the USCG itself, seeing as they have to get permission to use the logos/lovery e.t.c.

From what I have observed so far in pictures that I have seen on the forum of U.S. Coast Guard Cutters and small craft the Coast Guard stripe and logo are grossly incorrect.  Hopefully that will be corrected in the final version of extremes.

Hi John,

If I had to take a guess, I would say that it might be a 'generic representation' as far as the logos and stripes go, and that might have to do with the fact that there is no actual permission given by the USCG to use the actual logo's and paintjob.

But I'm not privy to the actual reason, to be honest. But if there was an agreement that allowed them to make them 100% accurate, there wouldn't be a reason to paint it as they have done atm, I would say.

Kind Regards,
Fred

Fred is spot on!
We have contacted the USCG on several occasions throughout development, but never got an answer back from them, which is a pity. So we solved it this way.

You would of thought the USCG would jump at the chance to be involved in a game like SSE  ::)

I have to say that's very smart Frank. It would be nice to have the actual logos and paintjobs, but we all like creativity from Vstep. Congrats

Vstep already proved in the early versions of SS06 that they are very creative with logo's like Beest, Fevergreen and Bearsk  ;D
