How to turn on lights on the ships?

Hello. Is there a patch for that vessel to have lights or any option in the Ship Simulator 2008?

Hello and welcome and too the forum.
And no theres is not a patch that updates the controlable lights

The lights go on automaticly at night.

As far as I know, there are only patches, which add navigation lights.
You still can not control them though.
However the Ocean Star & Pride of Rotterdam have patches which add lights to the sides of the ship.

... Just in case he doesn't understand, it's always nice to have a translation in your own language

Por el momento no hay el posibilidad de poner luz en los barcos.
Pero que si hay el posibilidad de poner más luces de navegación, si bajas contenido del sitio principal de www.shipsim.com , en un sitio se llama "Shipyard".
Pero, el crucero "Ocean Star" y el ferry "Pride of Rotterdam" tiene un "patch" donde se ha puesto mucho mas luces en los barcos, por las ventanas etc. Y tambien el "Red Jet 4" por dentro.

There are lights for everything from Sherpa to Pride Of Rotterdam, P6, Vermaas, Lattitude and more over at Schiffsim-Welt.


Once you have registered, you will have access to the light files, which are located in the English section of the forum.

Does anyone actually no who runs that German ShipSim forum???

I really want to download some light files but I've been waiting two days for an "Administrator" to accept my account so I can log in!  Soooo frustrating!    ...

I guess that might be to stop us from getting their files. Which is sad.

I spoke with the boss of the forum and he kindly let me in at last!

I was going to follow the tutorial of how to make lights on ships, but it's in German.
The guy said that we should translate it with Google Translate, which I did but it just comes out total nonsense.
I beleieve in August 2009 he said he would make an English Tutorial, but sadly still no sign, 10 months  later!
Shame I really wanted to add some lights on certain ships!

Yeah, we should try and persue this, and see if we can finally get the tutorial in English! I understand the concept of changing the lighting and addidng it, only the key parts were in German
