Does ship simulator extremes run any faster than SS 2008? also does anyone know the song in the ship simulator extremes trailer?

I can tell you that Ship Simulator Extremes will probably be more graphically intense, so the minimum specifications will be higher. So no, SSE will not be faster, indeed, it will be slower. How much slower, only Vstep knows at the moment. They may release specifications on the Extremes site, which airs at the end of the month.

So say you have an over clocked 4ghz, which will run ship sim with ease, and you still think people should double their pc speeds? I don't think so..

I hardly think doubling my processor speed from 2.15 GHZ to 4.30 GHZ will be necessary. I can just run SS08 well.
