« on: November 22, 2009, 17:25:02 »

I have downloaded ans saved a few add ons, and I do have new horizons, but after downloading and saving the files and i go to the game it seems like the add on did not add into the games,  I mean like I installed a few new ships but it was not in the game..how can i run it?
I save my files under C:\Program Files\Vstep\ShipSim2008

HI Kevieeee

you shall not save the file into C:\Program Files\Vstep\ShipSim2008 that you downloaded, it's a exe file and you most run it and install it to the game,
double click on it and run the file and it will install automatic in the right please

I have downloaded the add on for the 3 new missions for Titanic and ran it instead of saving it; however, when we go into ship simulator to play this it is nowhere to be found.  Help? :(

just to add to this, i've done all of the above, i have the Elbe mission pack, i have the Elbe and can play with it in free roaming but when i go to play a custom mission with it (and yes i know some include other ships, Old and the New for example however does not) im told that "this mission includes ships that are not availiable in your version of Ship Simulator". i know this, thats why i just paid £4.99 for it. Not happy man, not when i've actually paid money for something i've not got. Well half got... Technical Support implies this is the place to receive support of a technical nature so i'd rather not receive a link to your page of rules and regulations, just some support and an answer please.

thanks.

You are correct that Technical support implies that it is the place to get help of a technical nature. Why, then, did you not post in Technical support?

If by “Rules and regulations” you mean the bold blue topics at the top of the various boards, they are there to guide you to the appropriate place to ask about something. If you don’t wish to avail yourself of the help provided, then any frustration you feel in navigating this forum is on you.
