Waypoints dont show in charts

Ive have ship sim 08 installed on a win 7 machine and it runs perfectly. However there is one thing that bothers me when doing the missions. The missions-waypoints never show in my charts. I keep missing the waypoints by miles since i never know wich directions to go.

Is this supposed to be default? Its annoys me that i frequently have to go on deck to spot the waypoint by binoculars.

All updates are installed plus alle the free add-on packs.

Have you clicked the waypoints button on the chart button area?

yes, i did. Only the small waypoint icons to the left shows. you know.. The ones that tells you the spesifics of the waypoints and how many left..  Nothing in the maps though..

Hi Dutch Guy stuck in Norway,
First, you should register your serial number so that you can access the Missions board where questions about missions should be asked. On that board, you can download the Missions Manual, which answers your question and many others.
Free sample: There are buttons below the chart that select various items to be displayed on the chart. One selects waypoints. It’s second from the left, as I recall.

I see from your post that you have tried the free suggestion. The Missions Manual should cover all of the other possibilities. If not, please tell me. A screenshot of your chart might help, as well as one of the full screen.

I think im already registered. I bought 2008+NH here as downloads and have user/pass plus serials and everything. But im not seeing any misson manuals anywere. Will look around. Maybe i missed something here..

Man! Found the show waypoint button! hehe.

Is there any way we can pretend this never happened? Feel like a absolute retard.  

oh well. Must be the wine..

The Missions Manual can be downloaded from the bold blue topic near the top of Ship Simulator 2008 > Missions.
You do not appear to have registered the license key for Ship Simulator 2008 in your profile.
I shall remember this incident forever, perhaps I shall write a book.
