Are you sure Terry? Then why was I redirected?
There are so many user-adjustable settings in IE and Firefox, not to mention your antiviral software and firewall software that it is almost impossible to guess which one or combination it was, but almost certainly, it was one or more of them...
My suspicion is that it was AVG again. Last year (or was it the year before?) they had an episode when AVG kept telling me that my copy of Ship Simulator was infected and was trying to delete it for me. When I spoke to AVG, it was one of their detection heuristics that was mis-identifying a sequence of bytes in a mission that I had written (!!!!). Ship Simulator was OK. AVG was defective.
As they hadn't corrected it three weeks later, I wiped AVG and got Norton 2009 which is so much better than it has been for some years. No problems since.
