Ship Sim 2006 and Ship Sim 2008 are two completely different games. There is no way that any link between them may be made. In order to play 2008 missions you must have ship Sim 2008. I can tell you it is worth the price provided that your computer meets the required standards. You can see the Minimum requirements here:-
