Depends on what kind of laptop you want. if you want an everday, just for internet, kind of laptop, go tell or HP. If you want a gaming laptop, go Alienware or Asus.
Not everyone can afford $2,700 computers!

Well you want a good computer that doesnt cost you a months rent, which I get. Everyone prefers Dell, or HP or whatever. My uncle has a very old dell that runs great, my dad has a new HP which runs fantastic as well. I saw that if you are looking for an all around good laptop price not an issue dell is the best. Price being a factor HP is the one to go with my father has an HP Pavilion DV 2807nr entertainment notebook and that was fairly cheap if I can remember.

Keep this in mind...
Ram for 32 vista go with 3gb is good
Ram for 6 vista 4+ is decent

Good Luck!

THANKS MATT!!!!
Also, be sure to check that the graphics card is not integrated, or else you will not be able to change it and your graphics will be of a very bad quality.

Not if you don't choose to customize it! I fyou just go out and buy it, your laptop's graphics card will more than likely be integrated.

I must say most laptops I see don't have integrated graphics card, but that is here, maybe it's different over there.
