Hi All did we have previous saff members that are no longer staff? I read about it 100 pgs back lol
I read something about a Wout.
also was DJM a moderator.
What is the past of the shipsim forum?

Hi Matt,

Former moderator DJM and former administrator Wout both left for personal reasons, best not discussed in the open, I think. DJM has made a goodbye topic in which he explains why he left, though. So you can check that out.

If they made a topic themselves about the hows and whys, I recommend any comments be put in them. But other than that, let's not go into all that.. $:-\$

Stuart in my opinion never was one of the better moderators this forum as seen so I'm not sorry he isn't here lol

DJM was the best staff member this forum ever had, with Fred in second, two great guys

There was a mod called greonaard or something like that at one point, I think he still is.

Nub cake was nice though, did some nice repaints.

Don't think there are any more former staff members I can think of. $:-\$

I must say DJM was a great guy and a great part of the staff, the best, in my opinion. No offence intended to the rest of the staff of course, you all do an equally awesome job on this forum guys

We all know that Terry and Fred were moderators when Wout and DJM still had their high ranks. When they both left(Wout and DJM) Terry and Fred became the next Admins and sadsid became a moderator.

Ah yes (it's interesting here, been here for 3 years this month) I've seen many people come and go and the one that ofcourse sticks out is our dear friend carl. He was the best (no offense to current staff, don't need marmite man after me

) and I remember wout too. 2 great people indeed but I'm sure there's many more to come

I joined on July 16th, 2008, when I wanted to see what multiplayer looked like.But at least the Ship Sim staff is keeping the forum in good shape. Good work previous and current staff of the forum

Ahhh, I remember Wout and Carl (DJM) Very well, Not so much Wout, since, He was more "Keeping to himself" around that time. Carl was very active indeed, and he helped me out with quite a lot of things! Especially the Server Software (When my computer didn't crash, Unlike now

). He was, and still is, in my mind, and a valued member of Staff.

I probably would of seen more people, but for a few reasons. 1. When I had ordered Ship Simulator, a few days later, I got a virus, and had to send my computer into the PC Store. Other than that, my registration would be 2007. 2. My account was "Playing up" For a few months, after registration.

13 April 2006 here. Shame that old members leave but I suppose they had their reasons.
