New Ships from the Internet?
« on: April 06, 2009, 01:43:50 »

Hi Guys, Is there any chance that I can download freeware ships from other sites? There are only a few in the Ship Sim Shipyard.

             Thanks,

Thanks, mvsmith. Oh and I'm not saying that all the ships I have are not enough.

Hey StarWars,
I think that Ship Simulator 2010 Extremes will have tons of more ships including Titanic, Ocean Star, and all of your SS08 and NH lineup. So be patient till SS10 is realeased.

Of course, it has to be added that this is pure speculation..   ;)

I hope SS10 does got launchable lifeboats and realistic sinking. E.X. Titanic hits iceberg and goes down in 2 hours. in SS10, it is reduced to 30 minutes, enough time to launch the lifeboats. Britannic is damaged and goes down in 59 minutes, which is reduced to 15 minutes in SS10.

Matt, you keep on stating stuff as if they are facts, when what you say is not factual...

Britannic? Who ever said she'd be in it at all?

This could lead to people - specially new people, who take the word of a longer standing member for the truth sometimes - getting false information of things to come.. and in the end VSTEP get's the blame for not doing something they didn't even planned to do.. yet everyone thinks they did, due to these kind of post, that were taken the wrong way.

I'd appreciate it if you try to avoid making it seem like you're telling people what will be..
Keep an eye on the way you phrase stuff, and what you write, please..

Cheers!

Regards,
Fred

Absolutely no chance.

Hi Marty.

Sorry to disagree, but Mr starwars[number] absolutely can download ships from the internet. As many as he wishes, in fact.

But there is absolutely no chance of using them in Ship Simulator, of course (except for ships downloaded from Vstep).
