Changing Directions in the Ocean Star
« on: April 06, 2009, 01:47:04 »

Hi Everyone!

I seem to have a problem steering and changing directions with the Ocean Star.
She tends to heel a lot to the outside of the turn as I"m trying to change directions.
The only exception to this is if I steered while she is below 5 kts or so.  Anything above that, she tends to heel quite badly.  My passengers are getting sick!!!

Please help.

Do you mean, Ocean star leans during a turn? All ships lean to the outside during a turn. That is just how Ship simulator ships are built in the game. And welcome to the Ship Simulator Forum and Index, Azipod.

If you'd like to reduce the heeling, as you'd say it, you could also reduce the turn rate of the ship, and the ship would tilt a little less with each reduction of degree you turn the azipods.
