Portsmouth andSlent
« on: December 31, 2008, 15:07:00 »

:) :)Hi All, I am new to this forum, and have had the game a while and I am now really getting into it. I like the look of SS2010, and the new harbours and vessels. I would just like to ask if anyone knows if they are planning on doing more features and missions for Portsmouth harbour and the Solent, maybe even as a further update to SS08. It might be interesting as there is a lot of ferry, naval and private craft in the area ??
I am from the local area so I thought I would ask???  Cheers to All, V Step, and forum members alike. Happy New Year.... ;D

Hi JEvans, and welcome.

Yes, there are various plans to make changes to the environments. Too early to be precise, but lots of interesting stuff is already in motion behind the scenes.

I have been/am working quite closely with some of the developers and my "home waters" are the Solent (I live right next to it in Selsey and have vessels in Chichester Harbour).

If you want more missions, you can join Creators Forum (link is in my signature). It's free, of course, and operated by me, with a lot of help from many others here. There are over 50 missions ready for download, all quality checked and available as self-installing updates. A considerable proprtion are Solent-based.

Happy New Year to you and every one!  ;D
