Yatch transport - Float-on float-off ship's
« on: November 19, 2008, 13:18:47 »

Hello all,
Just to share some short idea, I remember that during the first anouncement of the SS08 on the web (youtube) there was a video showing a float-on float-off vessel (Something like DOCKWISE ships), I really don't know for which reason the vessel din'd appear since so far ??? but here I would like to leave my idea (Maybe someone already spolke about it).

VSTEP could add a Yatch transport with possibility to float-on / float-off then the players could transport Some of the statisc sail boats, speed boats and yatch through the many different enviroments.

It's just an idea that I would like to share with all, besides that also would be great to have a bunker ship as a player vessel then we can bunkering the ship's in port and or even through course on open sea depends how big is the bunker ship.

Tx for the attention and have a nice day cheers  ;D

I guess you are talking about the Fairmount Fjell or Fjord... it's what I can remember from the back of my head...

I also wonder what happened to this, looks a bit different than the current pushboat we have:

So this is in development? Or is it simply a post in the wrong forum that have not been moved?  ???

Well, the youtube movie is quite old (from 2007) and it even says in the title Ship Simulator 2007. That is even more proof of how old it is, because Vstep decided it wouldn't be SS07 but SS08 later that year.

I have no idea if it's in development or not.. as I said, this movie is quite old and it's the only thing we saw about this ship. It was probably planned to be included in the normal SS08. But that's what I'm guessing. Not facts.
