is it possible to download new vessels for the 2008 boxed version? and how would i go about doing this i downloaded one yesterday for 2008 and i dont no how to use it. It says i have to wrong version current version is 1036 and i need 1.4.2.

Hi, Welcome to the forums!

You should be able to, if you are getting that message i might suggest downloading the update from here:

http://www.shipsim.com/downloads/patches.php

You are best downloading the v1.x-1.4.2 . install the update as normal and try again.

Try Amazon, not exactly a shop but quite close!!
