problems

today i got the ss2008 (boxed) and i've installed it and rebooted my computer and i'm somewhat dissapointed because my titanic seems to be missing a load of textures (funnels, masts, bits of the bow and stern) and looks nothing like the titanic in the pics on the website.
Also my sea/ocean is just pitch black without waves (when they are selected),wakes or spray and that has left me greatly dissapointed. 
And the titanic has a strange list to starboard when i start accelerating.

Any help would greatly be appreciated

I believe it has something to do with your graphics card, which one is it? And finally I think this should have been posted in the Technical Support part of the forum.

Ermm... I believe that your system is a bit low... you need more CPU power, more ram, definetelly a new video card, because INTEL 855GM is an onboard card, and they are not too good in generating effects, shaders, and so forth, so , even though your system is kind of low(I'm not familiar with the M bit, but my guess is, its not core duo -2.4 Ghz Pentium IV is the minimum-, if its not, it doesnt meet the minimum requirements), my best bet that the biggest culprit in all of this is the video card.

This is evidently a laptop, and while SS06 runs OK on my laptop I have the Titanic funnel problem, and the add-on ships won't run at all on it. I'm afraid the game and laptops have parted company.

yeh well i just need to try it out till i get my own laptop last one broke:( (graphics adapter gave in) just soo you know i got the specs of a website cause i don't know exactly what my mum has got in her comp but it's probaly still the same.
