Title: Titanic's propellers
Post by: RMS Gigantic on June 18, 2008, 03:52:42
(If this does not belong here, by all means, move it)

It's starting to get annoying now:

I go to New York on my MP server as the Titanic....
She fails to go under the Brooklyn Bridge as her masts don't clear it....
She takes a nose dive, and her stern rises....
And then I see it:

All of the Titanic's propellers turn counter clockwise when she's at full ahead!

When moving foreward, only her port propeller should be spinning like that:

Its a game not everything can be 'prefect'  ::) Making them spin the other way will have some bad dynamics in ship sim since they spin clockwise for forward and counter clockwise for reverse.

I figured something like that was the reason....

Still drives me nuts, though.

Hiya RMS Gigantic :)

I recall that you already mentioned this in another topic, so there's really no need to start a new topic about it :)
