Just in case you missed it, the new 1.4.2 update is available:

Hmm, if we have NH, which one should we download? There is no recommendation on there :(

Ok, the full details for you:
If you have any version below 1.3, you will need the 1.0>1.4.2 update
If you have 1.3 or above, you will need the 1.3>1.4.2 update (also known as the Incremental update ;))

Mention was made earlier of a separate fix for those who have installed v1.4.1 Is that still to come or is it safe to install this version?

Is there a problem when you first start 1.4.2 that it is really laggy until you restart?
I played a mission with it and I was getting about 5 FPS but after I restarted I was getting well over 85 FPS.
Weird, maybe it had to "cache" some data?
Anyway Nice update.

Not that I know of Agent|Austin, probably just a bottle-neck on some of your hardware. Probably cleared itself ;)

Now i gone over to vista 32 bit and all is perfect, quick wive problem are a vista 64 bit issue i think I'm happy and all are perfect so long :)

Well I downloaded the v1.0 to the v1.4.2 and it said: "The installer you are trying to use is corrupted or incomplete. This could be the result of a damaged disk, a failed download or a virus." Does that mean I have to redownload it or something?

HI joedirt199 and welcome to the forum
Un install and reinstall it and close the virus programe when you dovnload it
youst remember to start it up again after you are finnish download here http://www.shipsim.com/downloads/patches.php and befor you tr to install it again use defrag disk and fix disk you find this programe to right clik at the disk you wil chek and thuse tools
