hi!
i spent some more time with shipsim and build some missons for me. one was to tug the vermaas with engine failure by the sherpa. well, i hardly could do it , the sherpa seemed to have real problems in towing the vermaas, a job the bugsier does
so i decided for another test mission : sherpa vs bugsier. stern by stern with tow line connected, the skippers at bridge with angry faces under it sunglasses, the levers ready to slam on the table. ;D and then go go go! lots of carbon out the exhaust pipes... and what happens??? the sherpa bitches against the bugsier!
full respect to the bugsier 2 which has with 65t bollard pull about one third of the sherpa... ;D
ok, annoyed by this another scenario for me. some fishing should relax me after the result being the skipper on the bridge of the sheropa...
only one engine, no thruster, should be no easy manouvering in the harbour. but... with full rudder i was able to circle in the harbour. hey, who needs thrusters? i looked closely to the vessel and the screw water at full rudder (45deg) goes 90 deg sideways!!!! resulting in this incredible turnrate ;D

well, after this second annoyment i closed the sim and now landed here at the forums...
