Title: SSE won't run on Windows 10 Laptop

I bought the game dvd and installed it - it's the Steam version but when I try and run it all I can see is the sky. I can hear the music as well.  If I click on the taskbar button I can see that the game is looking for the activation key but I can't see it on the main screen.  I have attached the output from dxdiag. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling from Steam but no joy.  I have also tried uninstalling and re-installing PhysX software. I have configured Ship Simulator Extreme to use the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960M graphics card. Any help would be appreciated.

Have you checked this post, section 2 might well be the answer to your problem.

Thanks for the reply, actually I solved the issue by checking the 'Disable scaling on high DPI settings' on the compatability tab of the properties for Questviewer.

Glad you solved your problem. I'm sorry I was not of much help for you, I am not au-fait with laptops nor with Windows 10. :doh:
