Title: SSE Multiplayer servers closing 15th of november

Hello all,

After the 15th of november (1 month from this date), Vstep will no longer host any official servers anymore for Ship Simulator Extremes. Users can continue to host their own private servers by clicking on "Start server" in the multiplayer section.

Very pity that Vstep will still close the official SSE2010 MP servers, I think that this will be dramatic for the whole SSE2010 community. This closure had been in the air for a few years since these official servers were plagued by shutdowns. The rumors in the past about closing these official MP servers were still correct!

It was inevitable to be fair. Not a question of if, but when. Vstep can hardly keep these servers running until 2086. Considering this is a 5 year old game it's actually a rare occurance that the servers were kept running for so long with such small amount of people on it.
On average there are about 7 people online each day. That isn't simultaneously perse. Usually if I take a random look at the online servers, 9/10 times they all indicate zero players.

Still, people can still create their own servers if they wish.

Indeed, interest in playing on MP servers seemed to be dwindling lately.
 Nice to know we can always play on private servers..

 ps: thanks to VStep for hosting the MP servers over the past years..  :thumbs:

Today I looked at the MP serverlist in SSE2010, I saw that it was empty. Has Vstep already stopped hosting all these official MP-servers?

R.I.P SSE Servers 2010-2015, At least we can still host private servers :)

Good evening everyone  :)
I am very sorry that they decided to close the Server officers, but in fact it makes no sense to keep log on machines ospistare a very small number of people, at a cost.
Ben are private servers, which until now have not been able to ever get.  :evil:

It's a shame.. but Vstep thanks for hosting the servers for the past couple of years. I haven't been online in years and just now decided to take a look just to find this message
