Title: SSE & Maps - Am I missing something?

When I start a mission how the heck are you supposed to figure out what direction to go? The maps don't zoom out far enough to see the green marker (you're mission objective) and I can't move the map around. Am I missing something or are you supposed to randomly navigate until you're lucky enough to see it on the map?

This has been the most frustrating thing in the sim for me. I didn't see anything in the manual either. Short mission you can see it fine. But the maps can't be moved and points only show up when you're close enough in the farthest out zoom to see them. Unless it's something I'm doing I don't know how you could possible navigate without seeing more of the map?

Simply, yes you are missing something.

You need to show waypoints and then a green marker will appear on the compass 'azimuth circle' giving you a heading to follow.
