Are there any new environments that have been added that I can download or load from somewhere? Need help

Maybe if the forum admins carried out a poll with the most wanted ports, the next patch (or DLC) wouldn't be with ships but with a harbour ;)

If you have everything which is available at the Ship Simulator website then I'm sorry the answer to the question is that there is nothing else you can install.

how do I know if I have all the environments available? the only ones that I know about are the ones that are in the game when I installed Ship Simulator Extremes. Is that all there is?

there aren't any other addons...everything is here http://www.shipsim.com/products/shipyard

There are 12 environments available in the game:-
Antarctic, Atlantic Ocean, Bora Bora, Dover with Calais, Hamburg, Marseille, New York, Padstow, Rotterdam, San Francisco, Solent & Sydney.
No more can be added.

I can't seem to use Calais in free mode. I can use Dover port but I want to use Cruise ship in Calais port. Does this seem right? I would like to have ship leave from Calais. I can use Calais only within one of the missions.

If you load "Free roaming" then choose a ship, the next stage is to load Dover environment. A chart of the whole area from Dover to Calais will appear. Click on the word Calais and drag the port to centre screen then zoom in and you will find that there are four places you can put your ship in the port and three outside the port. See my picture below. You have to be careful not to put a very large ship in a spot where there is not enough depth of water for her to float! ::) Note that instructions how to do this appear in top left of screen. :doh:
