Dear all,
Sad news has reached us this morning. Former volunteer and forum moderator Terry Russell has passed away. Terry was a very active volunteer that contributed a lot to our Ship Simulator series. His dedicated work to Ship Simulator 2008 and the Superpacks gained him fame in our community.
On behalf of the whole VSTEP staff and volunteers I would like to wish his family and friends much strength in the coming period.

Fair winds and following seas, Terry. Rest in Peace.

Very sad indeed to hear this news. What a shock for his family as Terry was not anywhere near old enough to depart this life. For Ship Simmers his memory will remain with us, His work on the Super Packs for SS 2008 will remain a fitting and lasting memory for us.
Angus.

Just saw this thread and I'm very saddened to hear of Terry's passing.
He was a really great guy, and helped me a lot when I was having major problems with SS2008. He was always very helpful and took time to try and help me find a solution. (which we both eventually did)
My thoughts are with Terry's family.

Not meaning to be disrespectful, but how exactly did he pass away?

Just seen this now....
I shall raise a glass to Terry, as without his contribution to the dusty Ship Sim Radio, it would never have got off the ground.
