I bought this game yesterday, really happy about it! Very nice graphics! You guys did a really good job! :2thumbs: But one thing I noticed that got me really sad and frustrated;
I tried a couple of "Free roaming" last night, and I was looking forward to see R.M.S Titanic in the new game, but I couldn't find her! ??? I've seen alot of pictures of her inside the game, but she wasn't on the list of availible ship to use...

Hi Cpt.MacGudmi,
I'm sorry to say that "Titanic" is not included in SSE. I do not remember seeing any pictures of her in the game.

Titanic was the most graphic eating ship of the entire game, sadly. Because of system requirements she couldn't be added to SSE.
And that picture is atleast 1,5 to 2 years old. :o

There are also many people who think that the titanic was a worthless ship ingame.
To be honest with you though, Vstep will only add the titanic IF they think its commercially viable. IE there enough demand for it, which, at the moment, there isn't. I doubt there ever will be, not until Vstep fix SSE.

RMS Canada (ex- TheTitanicExpert) left the forum (also, closed his Titanic-devoted Youtube channel and DeviantArt account as well) sooner after SSE was released.
RMS Gigantic slowly but surely is fading away from here.

I like how VSTEP official (Mark?) in one video on Youtube with a smile on his face was calming down: "Ah yes, the Titanic is also returning in SSE". Moreover, they included Titanic in one of the official teaser screenshots...
Teaser? Ah yes, "See the cool 4-funneled ship from the famous 11-oscared film sailing among ice? THEN BUY ME!" ;D

its coming up to the 100th anniversary of titanic on its maiden voyage and i do kinda miss the titanic it was a good ship for makign videos with i mean look at 08 for example it has more videos on the titanic than anything.

YEH! I wouldent mind the return of the Titanic its one of the reason's i got 2008!
and to not have it in this games is a crime in my eyes.

I've probably seen it about 15 times (maybe more).
For me it started when I was in 5th grade when someone in my class had his turn to tell about a certain subject; his was Titanic. So he showed some fragments in the film and in that time I was a big movie watcher (from where I have learnt a large vocabulary of English) so I became curious about the rest of the film. One day I saw it in the supermarket and I asked my mother to buy it for me. And then so on, I became a little obsessed with Titanic and the film. :P
But eventually, I just had the thought some day: It's just a ship, which unfortunately sunk just like many other thousands of ships. Just drop it....
Although, something good came out of it: my interest in ships :), which eventually led me to Ship Simulator. So, if that guy in 5th grade never showed that video, I wouldn't even be here. :P

by the way... will the 3d one actually look different? because i'v seen a few movies in 3d and then in 2d and there was no differance.

Desolee, c'est ne pas possible. Ne pas titanic dans SSE. Vouz prefer SS08, avec titanic.
