Title: Disabling intro video Shipsim 06

Every time when I start ShipSim 2006 I always see the intro video. How do I disable this?

I think if you press Esc, it would skipped the intro. I can't check if it work as SS06 isn't on my PC after having to reset it.

simply pressing space or the left mouse button should skip the intro. ;)

But is there any option in the config.dat file for disabling the intro video? Or can I delete the intro video file?

Hi Rbsanford,
As you do not have SS2006 how can you endeavour to tell players what to do?  :doh: :o

Hi MokMok,
matt5674 has already mentioned how it can be done, just press Esc as the introduction commences. To remove it completely go into the main SS2006 folder and scroll down to "publisher.dat" and delete that file. When you start up the game the introduction Video of Lighthouse Interactive will not be there anymore. Since Lighthouse Interactive went bust some time ago, which was the reason Vstep now use Paradox, I do not think there can be any objection to removing the video.

well thats how i get past intro vids of other games.
