Title: How to Re-install Ship Simulator-Product Key lost

Please help my son - he "accidently" deleted his Ship Simulator 2008 from our PC and now he is trying to reinstall it but we don't have the product key anymore - can anyone suggest a solution Thanks

Unfortunatly, the owner is responsible for his own products so I don't think you can get much help with this. :-\

Welcome to the Forum.

It is unfortunate that SS 2008 has been uninstalled. Do you have the original bill ? If so, the Administrator of this Forum may be able to help you.

It is for this reason, we encourage legal owners of Ship Simulator products to join the Forum and register their License Keys in their Profiles. Even if you lose the key at home, the License Key will always be there in you Profile in the Forum and you can reinstall the software.

As I mentioned it many times before, make sure you have a BACKUP of your Shipsim install disk or downloads and your licence key of Shipsim!

It worked!  :) I bought a new lap top and wanted to reinstall ship sim on it but the product key was long gone.  I assumed it was gone for good. After reading these posts, I logged on to my profile and there it was! Thanks, I am back in business.   :thumbs:

I'm glad you successfully reinstalled SS08 on your computer! Now I would reccomend you to register your key on your forum profile, so you will be able to access the boards of SS08 that you cannot see at the moment  ;)

Thanks. I actually had the 2006 version. Had been running it on another computer for years until I got the new lap top.  :captain:

I have done this, but the game says that the production key is not valid for this product, pls help :(
