I hope that with this new patch my framerates will improve drastically. From 8 to 16 FPS.

I have added my latest Dxdiag.

Hi Antaris.
With propwalk you mean the ship is moving to one side, am I right?
If so, many ships do that, and I like to manouver with her as she is :2thumbs:
I mean if she is like that in real, leave her as she is :)

I understand but the propwalk from the sigita is so unrealistic strong that you cant manouvre moving backwards
there is no way to steer to right backwards, thats not real ::)
In the real is it also by big ships but not so extreme.
By the most ships is it also possible to steer right, not easy but still there is a way to manouvre to right........::)
Why don\'t have the other ships in sse propwalk ???

It seems propwalk has been lost in some ships in SSE..
This is apparent when throttling up Vermaas or Latitude..

If you allow too much astern speed to build up then "Sigita", or any ship for that matter will not respond to her rudder. In reality you would rip the rudder off its pintles. Just GENTLE stern motion (2 knots) is more than enough & then you can hold her from swinging her bow to starb'd with the aid of the rudder.

Hi Antaris
The Answer is from  (luc)the man who do/es dynamic's

The propwalk, a right handed propeller, is designed at a rather conservative value.
I had checked it with care, and the propwalk ahead can indeed be countered by 1.5° right rudder, a very normal rudder angle for this ship.
I kept the same propwalk values astern, in order to be certain it was not exaggerated, and I checked that it can easily be countered through steering from 1.5 kts astern speed. To get this speed, simply accelerate the ship by short astern bursts, controlling with not more than 15° right rudder. The total heading deviation before reaching the speed at which steering is really possible, ie while remaining, astern can be kept under 20°.
Of course, allowing the ship to get a too high yaw rate astern will start a turn that no rudder can control.
Regards,
Luc

Hi ThirdMate,

This has been done (although it's not mentionned in the release notes). There are many fixes that have not been written, but it's there :) You now have helmsman views for all the ships.

Of course, you don't have to worry about this. If there are any doubt, you still can install the Sigita Addon Pack, and reinstall the 1.3.5 update after.

Well that was certainly worth the effort...

Where have the engine sounds for the Ocean Star gone?
Still ridiculous white smoke during the day from Esperanza.

Only tried two missions and both are now broken although to be fair the smoke issue is a continuation of a previous known problem, however this patch claimed to have fixed that.

This wouldn't bother me if it was a $20 game but it's not, it's a $70-$80 premium price.

???  I recently purchased SSE via Amazon and found out it was the STEAM version >:(.  Needless to say I am not happy with the fact it's through STEAM.   Anyway, is there a way I can upgrade from 1.0.0 to the correct one through STEAM?   I went through the game page feature of downloads and it stated my Key is not registered on the forum, but I did register it.   Can I install the boxed version without STEAM or am I stuck with it?  HELP PLEASE!!!
