oh boy, so this topix went from post count to whos online the most?
-
Cause Post Count talk normally ends with people spamming threads to boost their post count, which is pointless
-
i think everyone will laugh when they hear my total time logged
well yes spamming is not acceptable,
unless its some crazy forum which was made for spamming
but this is not the right place for that ;)
-
does 24 days make anyone laugh? ::) :P

i am 5 days

the cooolest people must be the ones who registered on the date this forum was set up

The coolest people registered on the previous forum ;D
I didn't know about the game then... :'(
Otherwise my forum time count would probably be approaching a year
-
yep but the previous one must not have been active that much,
maybe some serious talks but not like it looks like now!
Ballast, you must be happy that your one of the oldest people here (oldest with register date, NOT age)
-

I don't think the old forum had such a function - i assume they started counting with the new forum

I still missed a lot of time I could have added - ;D
For example, Fred has a whole extra year here compared to me...

allot of Mod's and Admins have also disapeared

allot of Mod's and Admins have also disapeared
They aren't really needed here if I'm honest..
-
they got kicked out?
-
i think banned is the word
-
they got kicked out?
No, there isnt anything for them to do here, isn't like its a busy place
-
it is getting busier with all the new people joining
but some of the mods never had a titale saying that they were mods but they were able to lock topics and kick people
-
We also have our side jobs behind the screen where we can work in peace and quietly ;D
-
that means soon in 15 years i might as well leave the forum for good :-X
-
if you know how to make one ;D
-
it is getting busier with all the new people joining
It isn't, trust me :)
-
I trust you my friend ;D
-
I trust you my friend ;D
When you have a forum with just under 100,000 members and a peak of over 1000 users on at a time every day, thats a fairly busy forum :P
-
We also have our side jobs behind the screen where we can work in peace and quietly ;D

Does your post count really matter?
the higher is the post count of a forum member - the more respected he is among his fellow members and the higher is the level of his pride, same as on youtube when it comes to subs
-
why would you think that?
-
Yep - I have now spent more time online here then any other member...
no wonder that u probably lacking a good tan ;D
-
so you think that people are popular because of their post count? and time spend online?
-
It's the date registered that really makes you cool 8)

the coolest people are the ones who are cool in real life, not on forum ::)
btw, pardon for the triple posting

Thats rubbish
The people who are respected are the ones who make quality posts, not the person who makes the mosts posts, even if they are essentially spam
no wonder that u probably lacking a good tan ;D
Tans aren't healthy :P

they say the same on shipspotting about the number of posted shots
ok so if we began to talk about the qua(lity/ntity), whats the percent of quality among the quantity of 8997 posts ?
-
qua(lity/ntity),
???
TFM's posts have always been in quality

You sound awfully familiar...
WM said similar things...
-
so what does this lead up to?
so a forum member who used to be in this Forum has returned!?
-
apparently the unveiling of where the WMbot went ::)
-
Well guess what.. TFM you were right. ::)
-
Wait, chris is WM? :o

OI! you have been here for about 4 to 5 years!
OI!
thats what i call popular!
but what about this:
People who are popular are the ones that get allot of positive replies on anything they posted,or new topics they made that are usefull to many people.. Quotes like: *Thanks for your help* or *You are very Helpful* are commonly used to people whjo are respected by other members. In my eyes post counts and date registered arent the most improtant..
Its most of the time the forum itself that decides if your really good at something or very kind to people or even helpful when people really need help.
Now thats what i call a popular member ;)
