hello.....I'm New User In This Form.
I Have A License Key For Ship Simulator 2008,I'm Enter It And It Work,But When I Download The Update V1.4.2 It Says That I Need To Enter The License Key,I'M Enter It And It Says ERROR: No Valid License-Key Entered.
The Same When I Registered The Licence Key On Profile.Any One Knows What's Wrong On The License-Key...

Do you have a DVD version ? If so where did you buy it ?
If it's a downloaded version where did you download it from ?
If it is a legal version you will get help from Support department.

Im having the same problem! i contacted ship sim and got a new key, and that one doesnt even work! i am sooo fusterated!

Hi Tree,
Welcome to the Forum.
Firstly, please register your legal copy of SS 2008 in your Profile, in this Forum. This will allow you access to other boards of the Forum and also Tech Support.
Please refer to the attachment below which guides you with the "upgrade path" for SS 2008.
If this does not work out please send a PM (private message) to the Administrator - Fred. He will look into the matter. To do this scroll up to Reply #8 in this thread and click on the link there. You have to type in your message and explain your problem to him.

Hi Tree,
Your message would have gone across. At the bottom of the message space (for PMs) is a small box which you need to put a check mark in - Save a copy to my Outbox. In case you haven't done that you will not be able to see your message.
I still observe that you have not registered your copy of SS 2008 in your Profile in this Forum. Fred is going to tell you to do the same thing. Please do it. He will surely reply, but give him some time.

my license key is in use by another user this is a bug problem and updating to 1.4.1 stoped my license key. :'(

Do tell us ..... how did your license key land with this other user? If this "another user" has registered it in this Forum, there is some trouble for you as a License key cannot be registered twice.

my friend gave me his game because it did not work for vista for him so he might have made an account when he had XP still.

if you friend have deleted his game from his pc and gave it to you and then hi also ned to delete the lisence key from his profile so you can register it, it not aloved to have the same key and game on more and one pc
so ask your friend to delete the key from the forum then all shold be ok and if Fred shall do something her to help you then you need a prov from you friend that he have given you the game

So it stopped working after you applied the patch?
Well, if your game works before updating, and the key stops working after patching, then the solution is very simple, because the reason is that certain illegal license keys as found on torrent sites, had been blocked in this update. There is no other bug or such that causes this effect. So....the solution would be;
Buy a legal copy of the game.
