 :-\ im worried about the new patch cause a lot of users are complaining should i install the update?

Works absolutely fine for me, a huge improvement over 1.1. :thumbs:

It worked well for me also, although you will most likely lose the radar/map.

I recommend you check out the following topic to fix this problem, after installing v1.2.2 patch.

It will fix the radar/map problem and save you having to trawl through the forum looking for a solution

About the map-/radar-function, so is there a hotfix to install which will fix that. The hotfix you will find at the same place as the update.

My biggest problem with the patch is that it seems to have messed up all my saved games from the 'Tourist' campaign.  >:(
I was up to mission 11 and now all my saves unplayable, placing me in the wrong ships, giving the wrong instructions, placing some waypoints far inland, etc... etc...

At some point I'm going to have to start from the beginning again but it's very frustrating so I'm taking a little break from the game for a while.
